Paul London Super Crazy, Elijah Burke, Chuck Palumbo Released

Super Crazy, Elijah Burke, Chuck Palumbo and Paul London have been released


As part of WWE’s cost cutting measures following their poor Third Quarter Earnings, Raw wrestlers Paul London and Chuck Palumbo have been released. WWE.com stated:

“World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Superstars Paul London and Chuck Palumbo as of Nov. 7, 2008. WWE wishes them the best in all future endeavors.”

Paul London hasn’t been used since his partner Brian Kendrick was moved to Smackdown. He fell out of favor with management after his relationship with Ashley Massaro and has been in the doghouse ever since. He never really had any supporters and was known for being outspoken and sometimes difficult. Its a shame considering his talent.

Chuck Palumbo hasn’t been used since being moved to Raw. In his case he simply didn’t have enough friends politically and the creative team just “had nothing for him.” Things would have been a lot different if he remained on Smackdown.

Palumbo has already sent out feelers to Mexico and Japan about getting wrestling bookings, seeing the writing on the wall before he was officially cut.

For the record neither men failed any Wellness Tests nor caused any incident backstage before getting fired.

SUPER CRAZY RELEASED (INFO)

Super Crazy from the Smackdown! brand has been released from his WWE contract as of earlier today. Crazy, real name Francisco Pantoja Islas, has been employed by WWE since 2005 and was originally brought in to participate at the ECW One Night Stand pay-per-view against Tajiri and Little Guido. He won that particular match and eventually signed a deal with the company and was assigned to the Smackdown! brand. Super Crazy moved to RAW in 2007 and just this year was drafted back to ECW and Smackdown! He did not win any titles during his WWE career.

ELIJAH BURKE RELEASED (INFO)

The recently released Elijah Burke has posted a message on his website TheElijahExpress.com regarding his dismissal from World Wrestling Entertainment. "My time is at hand. Do not weep, nor mourn, for I am gone but 4(up) a while. Hold on to that which I gave you, share it in laughter with those around you. For I have landed but for a brief refueling, for the course YOUR Pope takes is far far away," Burke wrote. "Your Pope smiles as he writes this knowing that peace is filled within, to all within the Congregation, NOW the true test begin! And remember, MY COMEBACK SHALL BE GREATER THAN MY SETBACK!~ The Pope Has Spoken!"

Dykstra - who was seventeen when he made his WWE debut - signed with the company in 2003 and was thrown into to the Spirit Squad group on RAW. He was drafted to Smackdown! in 2007 where he was barely used
